| TO: FH Contact List FROM: Alex Krycek <a.krycek@infonet.ch> SUBJECT: Still Alive - Quick Update Hey all,
Had a great time in Venice - even got to see some sights while we were there (or so Jake points out).
Jake and I are stationed at the Infonet company branch in Germany (where we're now employed, for those not previously in the know), but in between jobs at the moment. We've done a couple short gigs, couriering paperwork and a few items of a delicate nature. It's good work.
Life post-graduation is going well. Gavin Sr is only calling every other week to ask if Jake's been abducted/kidnapped, instead of every other day. And there are no sharks in Germany, so I'm counting this as a win.
Jake wants me to say that he hopes the Perk is still operational and has not somehow become a store selling bottled water. If anyone still in Fandom can reassure him of such, I'd appreciate it.
-Krycek and Jake
[OOC: Anyone whose email Krycek would reasonably have can say they got this. :)] | |

| Krycek was pretty sure that this kid thing? Could have been better (mostly by simply not happening in the first place), but so far, it also wasn't terrible. Stretching slightly in place, Krycek kept his yawn quiet, not for Jake - he slept like a log - but for the wee little boy who had only been able to sleep last night when he was cradled in the blankets between his Daddy and Papa. Jake would be awake any moment though, since the coffee maker was bubbling already, and Josh probably would be as well. Krycek planned on enjoying the quiet while it lasted. [OOC: For a certain weetinygavins and courier_gavin.]- Mood:calm

| Lau had made one last teleport jump to bring them home, after he'd been unconscious most of the night back in the Vineyard which is still being slowplayed a bit, stupid timezones. Krycek carried Jake up the stairs (missing his ex's skinny emo-goth form all the while) and back to his room, honestly uncertain where Jake had moved to and not particularly caring anyway; Jake's things may not be there any longer, but Krycek couldn't quite think of it as just his anymore. He put Jake on his bed and went to collapse on the couch for a bit, giving himself a few minutes before he dug out his cell phone and made a call. When that was done, he let himself doze for a bit, seeing as he felt he deserved a bit of rest now. [OOC: For certain someones.]- Mood:exhausted

|
| Everyone left after the meeting, save two - Krycek, because it was his room, and D'anna, who he'd asked quietly to stick around. He pushed away from the desk and opened the mini fridge, pulling out a couple bottles of water, one of which he offered her. "I have to ask you a favor," he said solemnly. "And I don't think you'll like it." [OOC: For dbiers, NFB please.] | |
|
| After recieving less than stellar news earlier, Krycek made his calls and waited. Thankfully, people showed up, which was more of a relief than he'd like to admit. When everyone had gathered in his mostly empty room, Krycek got their attention with a tap of a coffee mug against the top of his desk. "Guys? I really appreciate you coming here for this," he said to start off, looking grim. "Now we just need to figure out who's doing what." ( A meeting about a boy. )[OOC: That people were in Krycek's room is fine, but content of meeting is NFB. Preplayed with auroryborealis, kawalsky, threeweapons, imac_kenzie, mparkerceo, and dbiers. Comments are awesome.] | |
|
| Krycek got back from class in a strange mood, and was still wondering just what Carter's knowledge was based off of. The room still felt overly empty with only one person's things strewn around - and that was a concession he'd had to give consciously, as there was no way he'd mess up his room on his own. He tried throwing a magazine on the floor as he sat down on the couch, and was about to attempt a nap when his phone rang. Digging it out, he sighed and answered. "Krycek here." [OOC: Phone call is broadcastable, contents are not.] | |
|
| Krycek walked back to his room after a long handwavey walk, pushing open the door with trepidation; there was nothing on, no sounds greeted him, and the room was cleaner than it had been before he'd dropped by D'anna's and stayed nearly all weekend. He'd returned Saturday, but spent as little time as possible in 230, even excersizing to get out. It seemed terribly empty, even if neither of them had really had that much stuff, and Jake had left behind the furniture as well. He went to turn on his computer - at least then he might have something to do - and found a post-it stuck to the keyboard where he hadn't immediately noticed it. ( Little yellow piece of paper. )Krycek looked at it a long moment, then slid it beneath the keyboard, out of the way but not gone far. Why was it what seemed like the best decision always hurt the most? | |
|
| Propping the door open, Krycek sat back in his desk chair and thought about what to write on for his paper for Spy Tech. It wasn't helping matters that the AnnoyBot had somehow gotten wound up and was attempting to push everything on the desk onto the floor with adorable inefficiency. Krycek didn't know where Jake was, but he assumed it had something to do with coffee. [OOC: Door's open, feel free to stop by. Thread with dbiers is locked to them though.]- Mood:bored

|
| Krycek returned to his and Jake's room with a sense of relief he hadn't felt in a long while. He'd gone by the weapons locker first, dropping off his guns with a perfunctory cleaning, then wanted nothing more than to drop into bed and sleep for a while. Kawalsky had assured him he was okay and he'd take the other man's word on it. He made a mental note to check in with him later anyway, just to be sure. When he slipped into the room, Jake was sitting up, half-awake and frowning. Krycek smiled slightly and shrugged out of his jacket, hanging it up on the back of the door as he closed it. "Hey, you're awake," he said quietly, pulling off his shoes before he headed over to the bed. "Everything okay?" [OOC: For courier_gavin, natch. Conversation topic is NFB, pls.]- Mood:quixotic
